I am very bad at updating my LJ. Or Facebook. Or that MySpace thing.

I finished a fic, once that I originally started for Saun, don't remember why tbh, but I thought I would post it here. Of course, it's Sailor Moon, HarukaxMichiru and a few other pairings. it's set a thousand or so years after the Black Moon Family. Maybe if I stop being so lazy I could post other fics here . . . you know . . . me not lazy . . . people are laughing already . . .

I haven't updated in a while.

Me and diary/blog things are pretty unmixy.

Like me and cars.

But here's the update:

I work at Petsmart now, in the Petcare department.  That means I take care of the animals and sell people fishies.  I enjoy it.  Also I have a new pic of my bird to post.

I made a gallery of all the fish I want in my tank. Obviously, it's a lot of fish and I won't get them all. In order to keep your pages from loading very slowly, I'm just going to put a link to the gallery.

I have decided to try this journal thing again. Maybe it will work this time.

Well, I've decided to give away what's left of my freshwater fish and start a saltwater tank. I'm going to do a reef setup with live rock, so there will be a lot of initial investment. However, with a live rock setup, my tank will thrive and the fish I put in there won't die.

The fish I eventually want would include:

an orchid dottyback,
one of the shrimp gobies (preferably with shrimp),
a pair of anemonefish (maroon striped or black ocellaris) with host anemone,
a pair or more of Banggai Cardinalfish,
a small group of blackaxil or green chromis,
one of the many fairy or flasher wrasse,
a convict blenny or two for cleaning purposes,
and a dragonet or small lionfish if I could pull it off.

I hope to get pieces of corals from Matt's dad, and some inverts from another friend of mine who breeds them. This could be a very fun hobby.

Also, I got promoted! I'm a manager at Papa John's! Woot.

Spring Break is upon us and I will be spending about half of it in Florida: Jupiter (outside West Palm Beach), Orlando, and Tampa. I will be going to Sea World and getting pearls (Del's brother is a pearl diver), hopefully a black or blue one, and to Busch Gardens. Also, I will be seeing Athena again during one of those days. We're driving down, and I don't know if Del's going to let me drive at all, but I convinced him to take Friday off and sleep so that he'll be ready to go Friday night. I know I'll be working on an essay on the way there and back, so it won't all be fun and games. However, I cut my hair short again (significantly shorter than before) so that I won't have to worry about it. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to redye my hair again or not. I hope Del gets his car finished today so that he can get Daryl's car fixed tomorrow to last over the break.

I have a test in two hours, so I'm a little anxious about it. It's the first actual test we've had, so I'm not sure what to expect.

In an effort to keep my LJ from going the way of my blog, I am posting.

Yesterday, Del and I had the day and night off together for the first time in months. He took me out to dinner at Outback Steakhouse, which is the first place to make my steak rare enough that I truly enjoyed it. Also, I had this coconut-strawberry smoothie thing that was really good. And a Bloomin' Onion.

I got Del a parrotlet for Christmas, a tiny green bird with a blue butt and wings. He wants to spend time with Quigibo and Skittle and isn't sure what to do about the people he has to be with. Quigi gets all motherly and tries to feed him, but her beak is too big and she hurts him. Skittle hates the little ball of fluff, especially when he gets near Quigi, so I have to watch her around him. We had to move his cage into the living room because he's bonding too much to the other birds, which had an unexpected side-effect. Skittle no longer wakes up at 8-something in the morning with her screeching and singing, so Quigi never gets loud. This morning I actually slept until 11 without having to wake up and cuddle with my bird. Utter bliss. When we get a house, they all go in the living room.

I graduate in May!

Well, back to my fics. People on ff.net demand updates, but I keep hitting walls. I need some sort of inspiration . . . oh well. I don't have work until tomorrow sometime, so off I go to enjoy the time off.
